Hatcher Capital Investments was originally created to manage the Hatcher Family portfolio. We realized that many friends and associates wanted the same type of advice and counsel for their investments as well. Our goal is to create financial freedom for our clients by having a total financial and estate planning plan in place for their family and the generations to come.

So why pay more for an actively managed fund?
Every client is different. We’ll work with you to discuss your goals, create a personalized plan, set realistic expectations, and hold you accountable to your plan. Based off of your age and comfort with risk, we’ll build a low cost portfolio that aligns with your goals and review each year to make sure you are on track.

Clay was born and raised in Hughes Springs, TX. He moved to Arkansas for college and graduated cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University in 2014 with a degree in Finance and Management. After undergrad, he completed his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2016. He married his wife, Emily, in October of 2016, and was a Financial Advisor for a Fortune 500 firm before joining Hatcher Capital Investments in November of 2018. He has multiple professional licenses: the Series 7, Series 66, and Life & Health Insurance.
Clay and Emily live in Conway. They have one daughter, Macie, and two dogs, Sully and Maverick. They attend Fellowship Bible Church in Conway and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Walter was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and attended the University of Tennessee where he graduated Cum Laude.
He worked for The Hatcher Agency in the employee benefits division from the beginning of 2018 to the end of 2021. After completing his series 65 exam, he transitioned to Hatcher Capital Investments as a financial advisor. He has maintained his health and life licenses to go along with his series 65.
Walter married his wife in 2017, and they live in Little Rock. They have one son, and another on the way. Walter enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing basketball, tennis, pickleball, and working out. He and his family attend Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. He hopes to use his position at HCI to help those in his community with financial literacy and planning.
