How we get paid

OUR INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

At Hatcher Capital Investments, we believe in a disciplined approach to investing that prioritizes long-term growth and stability. Our preferred method of investing is through index funds. Why? Because index funds offer several key advantages:

1. Low Cost. Index funds typically have lower expense ratios compared to actively managed mutual funds, resulting in reduced fees and expenses for investors. This cost efficiency translates to higher returns over time.

2. Consistent Performance. Index funds aim to replicate the performance of a specific market index, such as the S&P 500. By mirroring the broader market, index funds offer consistent, market-matching returns over the long term.

3. Diversification. Investing in index funds provides instant diversification across a broad range of assets within a given market index. This diversification helps mitigate risk and reduces exposure to individual stock volatility.

4. Outperformance. Studies have shown that the majority of actively managed mutual funds fail to outperform their respective benchmark indices over the long term. Index funds, on the other hand, consistently outperform the vast majority of actively managed funds, delivering superior returns to investors.
